The Most Haunted Peepal Tree | Ft. Krishna | Horror Podcast | Horror Story
Fiction
In this episode of The Chasing Shadows Show, host R Chaudhary is joined by Krishna for a terrifying conversation about Paranormal Experiences, Real Horror Stories, Peepal Tree Mysteries, Ghost Stories, Mysterious Entities and Unexplained Supernatural Incidents. Krishna shares disturbing experiences from his village and family that shaped his belief in the paranormal.
The episode features a chilling story about Krishna’s aunt, who was returning from Govardhan Parikrama with other women from the village. While walking along a deserted path in the evening, she picked up some sacred Braj soil from beneath a Peepal tree. During the playful moment, she accidentally stepped on the soil, lost her balance and fell. Everything seemed normal at first, but after two or three days, strange changes reportedly began.
Krishna recalls how his aunt’s voice changed and how she began asking for white foods such as milk, kheer, rabri and raita. Over the following weeks, her health appeared to deteriorate, and when family members questioned her, she reportedly began growling and screaming in a voice that did not sound like her own. As fear spread through the family, they tried to understand what was happening and eventually sought help through a Tantrik ritual.
The conversation also explores local beliefs surrounding Peepal trees, Banyan trees, canal banks and places where cremations take place. Krishna shares another unsettling childhood account involving his great-grandfather, who reportedly picked up a crying goat kid near a Peepal tree, only for it to mysteriously disappear near a temple. The episode also touches on strange encounters, paranormal exploration and the importance of being careful while visiting unfamiliar places at night.
The stories discussed in this episode are presented as personal experiences, memories, beliefs and paranormal claims. They are not presented as scientifically verified facts.
