We live in an increasingly divided world, but young people have more in common today than ever before. That’s why VICE UK have teamed up with Brent, the London Borough of Culture 2020, to launch this year-long project: VENT. VENT is an experiment in podcasting, handing the megaphone of VICE UK’s huge platform to the young people of a single London borough, amplifying their passions and their fears to a truly international audience. Each Wednesday, our hosts get to the bottom of issues they care about - from white saviours to lip fillers to the UK prison system - by sitting down with journalists or experts and asking questions we haven’t even thought of yet. VENT Weekly is hosted by: Santos Da Silva | Amelia Mya Alleyne | Suprina Thapa | Nuradean Arreythe. Thanks to the VENT Production Team: Senior Producer - Jess Lawson | Assistant Producer - Emilia Gill | Assistant Producer - Arlie Adlington | Researcher - Moeed Majeed | Production Secretary - Kamiah Chae-Cowell.
