Former members of Engineers Without Borders Canada (EWB) have come forward to reveal years of abuses of power at the organization, and have stood up to demand accountability and change. Inquiring deeper into the issues, these aid workers-turned-activists unearthed wrongdoing that extends into multiple other institutions in the sector, shining a light on a toxic culture and pattern of unequal power rooted in patriarchy, white supremacy, and the capitalist-colonialist logics of "development."
