Soumitra Dutta is an Indian author, entrepreneur and academic. He is an ex-dean of Said Business School at the University of Oxford. Dutta has developed a career characterized by diversity that cuts across both the very high academic administration and technological entrepreneurship. His education gave him a solid foundation to this direction; having graduated IIT Delhi, he was awarded a Distinguished Alumnus award in 2017. The experience at UC Berkeley further enhanced his knowledge, as he was awarded a doctorate and received the qualification to become part of the faculty in INSEAD in 1989.
