Welcome to Soft Sleep Tales with Edward. I'm Edward -- the face in the channel picture -- and I make original long-form sleep stories set in Victorian Britain. Each story is planned and researched for this channel: quiet fictional lives in village bakeries, rainy bookshops, country inns, railway offices and farmhouses. Every one has its own characters, setting and ending -- I keep a record of every story so a new one never repeats an old one. The details are checked against the period -- the laws, the dates, the way things were done -- so nothing jars you awake. The stories are read by a calm narrator voice, the same every night, with no music and no sudden sounds. New stories twice a week. Also on Spotify, Amazon Music, Deezer and iHeartRadio. If there's a place or a trade from the past you'd like to spend an evening in, leave it in the comments -- that's how I'd like the next stories to be chosen.
