Miami is usually called a melting pot of cultures. We think it's more like a blender, and its product is a delicious smoothie made up of Latin American and Caribbean cultures. The Smoothie podcast (pronounced es/MU/di) reflects this by being a mixture of different formats: we talk politics and recent news of Latin America, cultural perspectives, what it means to be Latino in Miami, and what the best ingredients for a smoothie would be.The podcast is hosted by Joseph Sheran and Robert Marriaga, two grad students at the FIU Kimberly Green Latin America and Caribbean Center.
