“Smack Talk” is a podcast that focuses college football from the perspective of two friends who seem to have a debate for every topic. At its core, this podcast is focused on two college football fans having a conversation like the two have done hundreds of times before. Most listeners of sports shows aren’t trying to hear about endless statistics and research that they can do on their own time. Listeners tune in to hear people’s unique perspectives and to take in the different personalities and dynamics that the hosts of the show bring to the table. “Smack Talk” does this by presenting ideas and topics by two fans for other fans to listen, critique and be involved in. No two shows are the same because every show there are new segments, possible guests, and new storylines. Tuning in each week presents a new experience with the same hosts. Overall, the only things that one can always expect from “Smack Talk” are college football and debating nearly anything possible.
