Rise Church is a Christian Church who believes in God. And we are all quite normal! We simply share the belief that Jesus died so that we can enjoy everlasting life. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been brought up in a Christian household, or in another faith, or consider yourself ‘too bad’ for God. There’s no such thing! All we did was declare that Jesus is our Lord and Saviour, and that’s when life really starts. We are not religious. We have a relationship with God based on faith and love, not a set of rules. We express our thanks to God through worship. That means our lives are led by the values laid out in God’s Word: The Bible. We love God and we treat others as we’d like to be treated ourselves. To help, we have a guide, a comforter, supporter and friend called the Holy Spirit, who is always there for us. We are a loving, caring family that provides a safe environment and a sense of belonging.
