Rank and File Radio - Prairie Edition is a spoken word show exploring the labour movement on the prairies, providing news, interviews and political analysis from Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta. It airs Sundays from 4 - 4:30 PM on CKUW 95.9 FM and is hosted and produced by Emily Leedham. This show is produced on Treaty 1 territory, original lands of Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene peoples, and the homeland of the Métis Nation. Rank and File Radio’s mandate is to: ● provide listeners with factual and informative labour news ● build solidarity for workers in struggle ● develop a coherent analysis of the labour movement ● contribute to the building of rank-and-file labour networks This show is volunteer-run and an independent partner with RankandFile.ca which provides Canadian labour news and analysis.
