Pop Psych 101 is a weekly mental health podcast hosted by Therapist, Ryan Engelstad, and advocate, Mike Graham. In an effort to educate and normalize, they talk candidly about mental illness through the lens of books, movies and television. Common pop culture mental health tropes are analyzed, and the accuracy of their portrayals are in question, for better or worse. Pop Psych can be raw and real, and very serious, but it can also be very funny. If we really want to normalize the conversation on mental health, then we need to have real and normal conversations.
