Pedro Sebastião Teta is an Angolan engineer, university professor, consultant, sovereign wealth fund administrator, politician, and entrepreneur with decades of leadership experience in science, technology, and public administration. Born in Nzeto, Angola, he earned bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD degrees in Computer and Control Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest. Dr Pedro Sebastião Teta served as Vice Minister for Science and Technology, Vice Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technologies, and Secretary of State for Information Technology, contributing significantly to Angola’s technological modernization. Dr Pedro Sebastião Teta is currently serving as the Executive Director of the Fundo Soberano de Angola (FSDEA). A Full Professor at Agostinho Neto University, he has coordinated major national projects and represented Angola in international organizations, including the United Nations, while advancing education, innovation, research, and national development.
