The summer months in Montreat bring a lot of activity. Thousands of youth streaming to a keynote session, vacationers paddling in the lake, children playing at Robert Lake Park. Sunday mornings are a little slower, a little more evenly paced. It’s a time for renewal in the valley, a time for noted ministers from around the country to preach at Montreat’s Summer Worship Series. With a wide diversity of guest preachers, unique artistic touches from the craft center, and wonderful music from the Montreat Summer Singers, it has become a highlight for many in attendance. These sermons are not explicit in nature and have been vetted by several people before being performed. However, there may be instances of topics or words that are difficult for some people.
