About

These podcasts are not a source reference on Islam. They are podcasts that attempt to take a closer look at some contemporary Muslim issues and concerns - from culture and history to family and population, politics and international relations, as well as beliefs and values that inform, or ought to inform, our thoughts and endeavors. The Islamic discourse is premised on the inborn goodness of humanity, fitra, and although the primary listenership is naturally Muslim, its message is universal and inclusive. One doesn't have to be a Muslim, let alone an eager and earnest Muslim, to be able to listen to and reflect on the simple, day to day truisms of life we tend to pass by rather unthinkingly. It is hoped that the khutbahs will encourage listeners to think straight and clear, and to think intelligently and independently, in-sha’ Allah.
