You can find different types of coral worldwide, and the Pacific Ocean consists of several coral types. Reefs are creatures only found in tropical and semitropical forests due to environmental conditions. So, we learn about different types of coral in the ocean: Staghorn CoralSuch corals are usually golden with white tips or pale brown in color. These corals consist of 1 to 3-inch branches, like antlers, and they consist of a trunk too. Elkhorn CoralSuch corals are usually yellowish brown or yellowish in color, consisting of branches like an antler. This coral grows to approximately 6 feet and 43 feet in length. Leaf CoralIt is a type of vertebrate that includes different <a href="https://www.africanbusinessreview.co.za/what-are-the-different-types-of-corals.html" target="_blank">types of corals</a> such as soft corals, sea anemones, or stony corals. Great Star CoralThese corals growing from the giant boulders grow to approximately 5 feet in diameter and live in water that is moderately deep. The Coral Sea WhipIt consists of branches that appear like whips and are covered with polyps. It looks like a skeleton covered with tiny white dots. Carnation coralIt is a type of soft coral that lives in the Red Sea in the Western Pacific Ocean. It is also a creature consisting of a transparent trunk, and it is shaded orange and pink. It has beautiful colors of white, yellow, green, purple, etc. Sun CoralSuch corals are orange in color and consist of tentacles that are slightly translucent. These creatures are found in deep waters above 200 ft. Fox CoralThese usually belong to the jellyfish group or sea anemones. These corals are usually gorgeous looking and are found in different parts of Indonesia, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, New Guinea, Thailand, and the Solomon Islands. Bubble CoralThese corals are large, contain big polyps, and are stony, along with a skeleton of calcium carbonate. These  are round in shape and fleshy. Vase CoralThese vase corals are found in the Indian Ocean, Red Sea, South Central Pacific Ocean, Japan, etc. These are shiny, fallacious, and laminar in their common form. These creatures are available in different types of structures, such as discs, form plates, etc. They are bright green or brown in color. These corals are engaged in swirling, forming different layers of plates to fuse and interlock. They appear rosy and stony. Different polyps have different sizes of polyps. Some corals have several types of polyps as they are not fed. The shape of the polyp is smaller and not in space. These creatures can be identified easily.Pipe in coral orange. Honey CoralThese corals went extinct millions of years ago, but still, fossils of such creatures are found.
