Global Startups supports early-stage technology founders beyond the idea stage, helping them prepare for investment, expand into new markets, and move forward with clear, structured strategy. Since 2016, we have supported over 340 startups building in Canada and expanding internationally. Originally launched as LatAm Startups, we evolved to reflect a broader community of founders from emerging markets. We work with pre-seed and seed-stage companies, often led by experienced founders. Our approach is practical and execution-focused, supporting revenue growth, partnerships, and market positioning. We collaborate with public and private ecosystem partners while maintaining an independent, non-profit model. Our strongest sectors include AgTech, Biotech, CleanTech, and FoodTech. In 2024, GSA Ventures was launched as a sister company to invest in companies emerging from our community. Our network is global, with 52% of founders from Latin America and 27% women-led companies.
