About

The George Eliot Country Audio Tour podcasts celebrate the 150th anniversary of the publication of George Eliot's first work of fiction Scenes of Clerical Life. They take us to her birthplace and childhood home and the places that inspired those first stories. She went on to write some of the greatest novels in the English language including Mill on the Floss and Middlemarch. This is a Podcats production for Enjoy Warwickshire and there are maps, photos and more info at the website.
