About

Microdochectomy Treatment is a surgical process in which the Duct Ectasia is removed from the breast. Duct Ectasia is a condition in which the milk ducts beneath the nipple are thickened and lumps of milk are stuck in them. It is a non-cancerous disease, but it still requires specialized treatment on time. Microdochectomy recovery time is around 1-2 months; however, initial healing takes around only 1-2 weeks, with swelling around the nipple and mild pain. Additionally, you can consult your doctors regarding any other queries or complications.
