As we got together in 2015, just a couple of friends with the same or partially the same interests, we decided that there is not enough done for the promotions of stories. Sure there are some interview blogs, sure there are some Youtube promotional video’s, but there didn’t seem to be any long-term in-depth telling of the story itself. And podcasts being audio, reading in the first pages of each story was the first thing that came to mind. But we didn’t want to stop there. We also wanted to give some information about the author and publication, maybe even do a special on how to manage self-publication, PR and such. As one of us already ran a blog regarding this for several years, we combined our skills in recording, audio/video editing and very simple webdesign started recording only one month later, funding ourselves were needed.
