ASHIYA is a well-known vocalist from Toronto, Canada with a passion for entertainment. Ashiya's performances have drawn comparisons from great talents such as Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Freddie Mercury and Whitney Houston. Her repertoire ranges from Jazz and Blues, to Contemporary Rock, Bollywood and R&B. Ashiya has also performed at various conferences and events around Toronto, including the Decolonizing Conference at the University of Toronto, R.I.S.E. Celebration of Black History at York University, the Many Rivers To Cross Photo Exhibit and Celebration of African-Canadian History in Toronto, and the Canadian Mental Health Association.
