This is the Think BIG Dentistry Show where your hosts Dr. John and Marilee Sears, will show you how to give your indecision and confusion a back seat to decisive, goal-driven decisions to move you forward. Where we will break out of the mundane and routine, ordinary biases and ideas about running a dental practice and propel you and your practice into profit! We'll give you systems and strategies to create a successful practice along with the freedom to live your most powerful life. Dr. John and I chat about what is going on with COVID and controlling the controllable. It's vital to be thinking about the direction of your practice, especially in these unpredictable times. Start your day with what you want the end of your day to look like in your mind. Your day doesn't have to be perfect but should achieve enough checkmarks to be content at the end of your day. Having a clear picture, direction, and vision of success in your practice is incredibly important. It's very easy to focus on what we want so that we can lose track of what is going right for us in our lives. Building relationships, serving our clients well, and hitting key numbers and goals are all reasons to celebrate. Perfection is false because we will never reach perfection. Therefore we won't have a reason to celebrate. Creative curiosity is happening amid the COVID pandemic. People are finding innovative ways to socialize in the face of lockdown. One of the best ways to break boredom is to explore your curiosity with creativity. Open up new pathways you haven't experienced before in your life. Curiosity is a choice and a mindset for us to grow. Be creative, and be curious about your future. Listen in to find out the four pillar questions, how you can take advantage of creation during this period of uncertainty, and why it's essential to be focused on your end goal. Learn why you want to (and need to) focus on the positives, why it's vital to be flexible in your approach, and why everyone is critical for your vision and the destination.
