Tonight, we take the long road south through Middle-earth. You are a traveller from the distant North, carrying a sealed message toward Minas Tirith and an errand whose importance you do not yet understand. Rain follows you into the green lands of Rohan, where a passing cart offers welcome relief for tired feet. It will not be the last. As the road carries you closer to Gondor and the White City, three very different travellers share the stories of the lands you are passing through. Stories of old promises, vanished kings, ancient kingdoms and the things people continue to guard long after those who began the keeping are gone. And somewhere beyond the rain, Minas Tirith waits beneath the shadow in the East. So settle in, listen to the wheels upon the old road, and journey south through Rohan and Gondor toward the White City.
