Eleanor Roosevelt once said, "People grow through experience if they meet life honestly and courageously. This is how character is built." But most people read a great quote, nod their heads, and do absolutely nothing with it.

If you want to build a life capable of handling whatever gets thrown at you, you have to break down the actual mechanics of personal growth. In this video, we look at self-development through the lens of RPG mechanics, breaking down the three core pillars of character building: Honesty, Courage, and Character.

Stop staying in the starting town. It’s time to leave the tavern, face the dungeons, and level up.

What You’ll Learn:

• Honesty and Cognitive Dissonance: Why making excuses to avoid short-term discomfort completely halts your progress. If you aren't honest about where you are, you can't map out where you're going.

• Courage as a Skill: Fear doesn't magically vanish. Courage is doing the thing anyway, re-evaluating fear as a sign of importance, and racking up "complicated successes."

• Choosing Your Character Class: You don't need to reinvent yourself. You just need to choose which version of yourself (which "class" or cognitive state) you are logging into for the situation at hand.
