Here I take a break from reading chapter out of New Megiddo rising for some commentary on current events. I try to connect the dots with some modern phenomenons, like social media organizing and influencing, "grassroots" versus "astroturfing", neo-liberalism and neo-fascism, and the oligarchical, corporate elite that has been manipulating the left and right and channeling their populist rage to defeat otherwise noble initiatives.
