Surreal Sci-fi mess XBook is almost at an end. **Some distressing moments** Here are the antepenultimate and penultimate chapters. This is where we find out how the characters should be getting ready for the final conflict, but what we actually learn is how this novel falls apart. Any story is about wants vs needs and motivations, but what happens when the main character doesn’t have any of those? Don’t know what’s been happening? Well, this is not the best place to start. Nor is the beginning.
