It’s 1918 and aliens are invading the Earth. By this point in the story, our human protagonist has armed himself with a new weapon to help him attack the aliens, and our alien protagonist/antagonist is trying to work out why the first wave of the invasion has not gone well. XBook is a novel that I wrote when I was a young and aspiring author. I then did a Master’s Degree in writing which kicked the passion for writing out of me and replaced it with just pages of bullet notes because apparently planning is important. I’ve barely written since my Degree. It's a sci-fi/historical/surrealist fiction mess, with those 3 genres mashed together with none of the tropes that make any of them, individually, successful. Fans of surrealism, this may not be the Ginger chapter that you are wanting, but fans of William pontificating, well you are in luck. Each episode, after reading out the chapter, I then go in and analyse what has been narrated. This varies in success as I often get sabotaged. It’s episode 14, and I’m worried that I am beginning to run out of things to say. Sometimes, even just coming up with the most simple of ideas requires much pruning away of the bad ideas. Struggling to think of what to say combined with another super busy couple of weeks at work has resulted in.. this. 04:50 - Chapter 17 Ginger Comes Back Down to Earth 15:36 - Chapter 18 Fly, William, Fly 24:04 - General Notes 35:44 - The Psychologist’s Chair What are your thoughts on this and previous chapters?
