XBook, is what happens when you put an alien invasion right after the First World War and then use one of your main characters as a springboard for surreal fantasies.  If that sounds like a book that was written by someone young and dumb, you’d be right. I last looked at it about 15 years ago, and just occasionally I admire my writing. Just occasionally.  Each episode, I read out a chapter and then analyse it. Well, this is going to be the last analysis. It’s complicated, but very much chronicled through many previous episodes.
