Melissa Washington is a Navy veteran who, went on to found the Women Veterans Alliance, which offers women veterans opportunities to gain valuable career experience and successfully integrate back into civilian life.

We are committed to helping veterans learn about and deal with the mental and emotional struggles they face both during their deployment and after they come home. We cover topics such as mental health, PTSD, relationships, leadership skills, and we interview other veterans about their experiences and how they’ve dealt with them. Our goal is to give hope and strength to veterans and their loved ones who might be struggling with their own situation, whatever that may be.
