In 1995, the film tells the story of a hiker who mysteriously disappears in the Oregon woods. While he is presumed dead, many speculate that he may have been a victim of "hills fever," or what the local indigenous community calls "Face of the Wolf." The narrative then follows a young boy named Blake, who lives in a remote farmhouse with his controlling and abusive father, Grady, a survivalist. During a hunting trip, they stumble upon a dark force, setting the stage for the chilling events to come. Fast forward thirty years, and Blake is now in New York City with his wife, Charlotte, and their daughter, Ginger. Their marriage is strained, but when they receive news of Grady's death, they make the trip to Oregon to settle his estate. What happens next? Discover it in full length on Afdah.
