Why you need to narrow down your niche?

I hear this a lot: " Michelle, But I want to keep it general. I don't want to leave anyone out." But the truth is when you don't have a specific Niche, you are making it really hard for those who REALLY want to work with you out. They come across your social media copy and they are confused about what is it that you can do for them. How do I know this? I've been there, done that. I thought keeping it general would give me a better chance to work with anyone who is looking to hire me. And then it finally hit me when people aren't RSVP when I have events, I had a hard time growing my audience, and even when I finally did have an audience, they weren't engaging enough to sign up with me. The solution? Narrow your niche! You are not responsible to serve EVERYBODY. You are only responsible for the clients who can truly benefit from working with you.
