Why is studying the lives of the saints important? What can we learn from them? Join us as we kick off our first ever podcast episode by diving into these questions with our special guest star Jake Taylor! Jake walks us through the importance of looking to the saints as an example of what it looks like to turn away from sin and turn towards God. The saints are our big brothers and sisters in Christ, and they have provided an important model for us to look to. Perfection is not a requirement for sainthood. As the wise philosopher John Foreman says "Every saint has got a past, and every sinner has a future." Every single saint has a sinful past, but it was their choice to turn to God and what God did through them that earned them their sainthood. Thanks for joining us for our very first podcast episode!
