A UAE visa medical test is required for all expats who want to get a new visa or update a current one. It includes several health checks, like blood tests and chest X-rays, to look for diseases that can be spread, like tuberculosis or hepatitis. The UAE government has set tight rules to make sure that these tests are done correctly, in an honest way, and under the watch of a doctor. Medical tests and medical fitness certificates for visas can only be done at places allowed by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) or Emirates Health Services (EHS).
