Welcome to the Simply Straight Talk Podcast with you host Reggie! Have you ever been the victim of a theft or robbery? After experiencing a traumatic event such as a robbery/theft, a person may experience nausea, dizziness, emotions such as sadness, anger, denial, fear, and shame, difficulty sleeping, changes in sleeping patterns and/or extreme sadness. A victim may experience one or more of these symptoms. Now I have another question, what if you are the victim and perpetrator of a crime against yourself? Think about the emotional and mental stress a person may put themselves through in life. It’s one thing to know that someone else has taken something from you, but reality hits harder when you must face your own truth, regarding you harming yourself. In this episode, Reggie is discussing some of the most common ways we rob ourselves of a better career, relationship, confidence, professional/personal growth, and the simple pleasures of enjoying life. Most of us only focus on the physical things we see in others that impact our lives, but rarely do we reflect on our own inner thoughts or personal behaviors. Don’t forget to like, share and comment!
