I cannot just listen to whatever anyone tells me about Islam - even if I trust the source. I have to look into the references  myself as well.

Who Taught Me Islam?

Prophet Muhammad (may everlasting peace be upon him) stated that he had been sent to mankind to perfect the character. He was sent to show us how to behave, how to interact, and how to walk in Allah's grace throughout this life... and maybe in the next as well. He is the example, the guide. But...I...don't know what his example shows. I have not taken the time to study it. I have not taken the years to make it a part of myself... . So...let's start then. This is my journey. My journey to achieve "the character"!
