In Episode 01, we talk with Central College softball Hall of Fame Coach George Wares. Coach Wares has coached successfully at both the high school (boys' basketball, softball) as well as collegiate level (assistant men's basketball, head softball) in his career. Coach Wares's teams are known for their aggressive play and never-say-die attitude. In part 01, he shares a bit about his start with athletics and coaching and discusses his early failures and successes as a coach. Coach Wares also offers great advice for new coaches. Wade shares some parallels from his own first experience as a young high school head baseball coach.
