18-year-old Karla Lozano knows what it is like to grow up in a violent home and be sexually assaulted. She speaks openly about her trauma and her work with, "Break the Cycle" an organization dedicated to creating a culture without violence.

College students Jasmine Babers and Mikhayla Hughes-Shaw sit down with young women from the Quad Cities and beyond for intimate conversations about young adulthood, touching on difficult topics such as mental health while also having some fun along the way. Jasmine is the founder of Love Girls Magazine , a quarterly publication "for girls, by girls" she started while a student at Rock Island High School. Mikhayla — also a graduate of Rock Island High School — is Vice President of Love Girls Magazine , and was crowned Miss Iowa 2018.
