Pastor Ford will explain that forgiveness is a dialogue and saying you’re sorry is a monologue.  In other words, when we say, “I’m sorry,” there’s nothing else to say about what’s happened.  But, when we say, “Forgive me,” now we’ve included the other person and we’ve opened the door for a dialogue to take place so we can deal with what the issue is.
