Gov. Ned Lamont's revised transportation plan still relies on tolls for part of its funding. Not surprisingly, Republican lawmakers (and some Democrats) are still less than enthused about supporting it. Of course, there's lots more in there besides tolls -- fixing bridges and adding commuter rail cars, for example -- and most of the work would be funded by borrowing from the federal government.
