You must have QuickBooks Online Advanced or Bill Pay Elite in order to set up bill approval workflows in QuickBooks Online. Choose Set Up Bill Approval after navigating to the Settings icon then Workflows then Templates. Using a template or creating a custom workflow from the ground up, you may choose actions like automatic approval or submitting for human review, specify approvers, and define triggers like the bill amount or vendor.
