Today we will answer a listener question concerning the "ye" of 1 Corinthians 3:16  and the "him" of verse 17.   We will discuss who the "temple of God" is and who is the "him" that God  will destroy.   Paul is addressing the carnal "babes" in Christ at Corinth. They are  spiritual vegetarians and Paul has put them on a meatless diet  consisting only of milk.   He also warns them of those that were out to destroy the Corinthian  church (the temple of God.) As members of the church which is His body,  we are to beware of false teachers who are looking to fleece the flock  with their misinformation and false doctrines. We must shun all profane  babblers. Their vain words will only increase and eat as doth a canker.  These self centered bullies defile the temple with corrupt words that  only turn us away from the simplicity that is found in Christ.   We can rest assured that we cannot be the "him" that God will destroy.  We know this by reading and believing what our apostle Paul says about  us.   We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but  not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not  destroyed; (2 Corinthians 4:8-9)  Subscribe to our channel and Like us on Facebook @ https://www.facebook.com/truthtimeradio Visit https://TruthTimeRadio.com to subscribe to our Podcast & Blog.  For Bible questions call 1-888-988-9562. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/truthtimeradio/message
