Dreux and Alyssa, two roommates with a strong friendship, had an uneventful start to the day in Los Angeles. Whether it's Alyssa's lively and carefree personality, which she conveys via her art, or Dreux's quest for a management role at the cafe where she works, they support one another. But a major problem arises right before Dreux's crucial interview. Inexplicably, Alyssa's careless boyfriend has been tasked with delivering the rent money, which he has wasted on his own endeavours.
