The World Hindu Council (VHP) was established on August 29, 1964, during the auspicious occasion of Krishna Janmashtami, with the blessing of India’s spiritual strength. The VHP's core mission is to unite Hindu society, protect Hindu dharma, and serve the community. Over the years, VHP has grown into a formidable force, continuously expanding across villages and towns in India. Through over 4,277 service projects, VHP is strengthening Hindu society’s roots, with a focus on education, healthcare, self-empowerment, and social reform.
In this video, we explore VHP's efforts to eliminate social evils like untouchability, while also reviving the inherent unity of Hindu society. From organizing movements for the protection of Ram Janmabhoomi and Amarnath Yatra, to defending Hindu cultural values, VHP has emerged as a powerful force in shaping India's social and spiritual landscape.
