The War of the Rohirrim is set in the esteemed Kingdom of Rohan, and my interpretation suggests that it narrates the tale of the formidable King Helm Hammerhand and his daughter Héra, who embodies a proto-feminist spirit reminiscent of Studio Ghibli characters. Every father desires the best for his daughter, yet when the awkward Dunlending lord Freca proposes his son Wulf as a suitable match for Héra, she declines the offer. Although Héra has fond feelings for Wulf, having grown up as childhood companions, she doesn't love him romantically.
