Cal checks out the scene while Santa Claus chats with kids at the mall. Santa is having a blast, calling it his energy fix before the holiday. With Christmas just a day and a half away, he’s ready to get moving. Mrs. Claus keeps track of his activities and approaches the door when Cal shows up with an envelope. She encourages him to have a word with Santa. As the captain of Santa’s security team, known as ELF, Cal shares his wish to resign. After over 500 years, he’s seen kids grow into cheeky adults and thinks it’s time for someone younger to take the reins.
