1 Thessalonians 4:1-12. We are now moving into the practical part of the letter. How do we live lives that please God? What if we are already doing that? Well, today's text tells us not to settle for the status quo. "More and more" is the challenge, keep pressing in and digging deeper. What does "sanctification" mean and how do we live that out and live into it? There are three main focus areas according to our text today, and they are just as applicable in our world as it was 2,000 years ago.
