On this weekly episode, we reflect on how we are ‘always-on’ and how our daily lives are always moving, there is a constant demand to be always busy and to be seen to be busy, and responding to everything immediately, and getting tasks done straight away. It can lead to feelings of being overwhelmed. There is a massive difference between being busy and productive. While the power of Starbucks and energy drinks help us feel like we have an endless amount of energy. We are not designed to always be busy. Our weight fluctuates day-to-day, and daily weighing can lead to discouragement, stress and, quitting of diet and fitness regiment. When we see a higher number on the scale than we saw the day before. Weighing ourselves once a month is a great way to ensure we are staying on track while becoming lost within our fitness journey. Decades of history have shown, though, that although we consider ourselves to be highly rational decision-makers. We are pretty irrational in our decision-making. We aren’t so good at figuring out what we want. Our preferences aren’t very stable or coherent. We’re bad at assessing risks and rewards.
