God is LORD over everything, so that must mean that he is the cause for everything that happens right? Well actually, this saying is very unbiblical. Although God is in control of everything and LORD over all, that doesn't mean he is not the cause of literally every single thing that happens. After all, we as humans do things that God never wanted us to do and never even approved of (It's called sin). So if God doesn't cause everything to happen, then what are the reasons that bad things happen in the world and do our actions have consequences? We must realize the reality of spiritual warfare (Ephesians 6:12) 3. We must find out what God's will is and do it. For God works towards the good of those who follow him and obeys his commands.
