Breonna Taylor was twenty eight at the night of her death and the circumstances that got her killed upset the entire nation, to say the least. It was the night of March 13, 2020. In Louisville, Kentucky, Taylor was resting in her apartment with her then boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, when three officers entered her home with a “no knock” warrant. When officers, Jonathan Mattingly, Brett Hankison, and Myles Cosgrove entered the apartment, Walker, startled, grabbed a handgun and opened fire on the officers.
