Jesus spends a great deal of time in prayer. Although he used to pray alone, he ventures this time to take three disciples with him. In the midst of this experience, the disciples see a unification of heaven and earth, a blending of both realms, when Moses and Elijah converse with Jesus about his coming assignment. Afterward, we learn the value of why Jesus spends many hours in conversation with God. There is a direct link between prayer and faith, the power to bring nature back into accordance with God's paradise. Those who believed in Jesus and followed his call would be governors upon the earth as ambassadors for the heavenly kingdom, but not in the same way that the world governs. The new kings, under the lordship of Christ, would be known by their love for one another, and the one who is great would be the servant of all.Support the show
