Pastor Baldwin Barnes and Dr. Pollyanna Prosper Barnes, as committed agents of transformationin the lives of people, have expertly impacted various communities in the US, Canada, andabroad for more than 25 years. Baldwin is a master of distinctions: he is uniquely gifted with theability to dissect and interpret complex concepts, drawing from his foundational studies inchemistry, clinical psychology, and theology. A teacher at heart, with terminal degrees ineducation and counseling, Pollyanna is an expert at using anecdotes and illustrations to leadlisteners to practical applications of multifaceted lessons. Currently, Baldwin shepherds theBethesda Seventh-day Adventist Church in Amityville, New York and the Barnes serve as thedirectors of Family Ministries for over 175 churches from New York to New England in theNortheastern Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.Together, Baldwin and Pollyanna created Elationships, which blends ministry, counseling, andrelationship education to provide “exhilarating experiences that cause unimaginable living.”Combining their educational and professional backgrounds with their personal passion andrelationship journey, the Barnes have metamorphosed from college sweethearts to Christianrelationship coaches who open a space for self-analysis, understanding, and commitment. Theyprovide empowerment by educating, coaching, and training people in developing andmaintaining effectiveness in all relationships in a variety of locations such as churches andreligious organizations, educational institutions, businesses, non-profit organizations, andcommunity associations. In their retreats, workshops, seminars, coaching, and individual, couple,family, and group counseling, they provide services that have induced radical transformations incouples, parents, families, and organizations. Through their 40 years of marriage, they havecommitted to support married and committed couples in creating an environment of love,fulfillment, and oneness, engaging couples in provocative and profound conversations that leadto mutual awareness and renewal of passion, joy, and togetherness.
