Age is the primary factor for determining and classifying presbyopia. Although there is a high correlation between a patient’s age and signs of presbyopia, there is still high patient-to-patient variability regarding the efficacy of different treatments. In this episode of Presbyopia Unlocked, Marguerite McDonald, MD, is joined by Leslie O’Dell, OD, Rachael A. Wrubble, OD, and William B. Trattler, MD, to discuss how eye care providers can optimize their classification system to increase patient understanding and improve treatment decision-making.
